How do we turn food into fertiliser?

When our Sales Team identify a potential new food waste product, it is firstly sent to the laboratory, where the nutritional and gas composition of the product is analysed, determining the best recycling pathway.

If the product is identified as an agronomically beneficial fertiliser, our team of Farm Liaison Managers works with farmers and landowners to identify fields that will benefit from our fertilisers. Our Farm Liaison Manager will carry out soil analysis to determine the crops nutrient requirement, and nutrient and spreading plans are formed.

The Agronomy Team, where applicable, will make an application to the Environment Agency to spread to land under deployment. Once authorised, the Farm Liaison Manager will work with farmer, or landowner, to put the spreading plans into place.
