Liquid Waste Recycling and Anaerobic Digestion Wastewater Treatment
Liquid waste recycling and anaerobic digestion wastewater treatment give you a hassle-free way to dispose of your waste, but also peace of mind knowing that you are adopting environmentally-friendly practices.
What Is Liquid Waste Management?
Recycling to Land
At Whites Recycling, we are not only passionate and dedicated when it comes to industrial wastewater management, treatment and disposal, but we also strive to carry out our services with the environment in mind. Recycling to land is a cost-effective and environmentally conscious solution that benefits farmers and rural locations all over the country. Why waste your waste when it could be used to provide soil and crops with vital nutrients? Our waste management specialists can dispose of your liquid waste efficiently, and for a reasonable cost. Meanwhile, you’ll have the free time and peace of mind to focus on the other vital aspects of your business. This approach offers a reduced carbon footprint and helps support the local farming community.
We also have one of the largest networks of storage facilities across the UK, enabling us to take liquids in at times of the year when recycling to land isn’t permitted. We run a modern fleet of over 80 tankers — each offering a payload of up to 30 tonnes — along with our smaller fleet of vehicles to accommodate those with restricted access.
We recycle the following waste liquids to benefit agricultural lands:
- Food manufacturers process liquid
- Effluent water
- Brewery sludge
- Anaerobic digestate (AD)
- DAF slurry
- Water treatment sludges
*Any product recycled to land is done so under a deployment that is authorised and regulated through the Environment Agency.
Waste to Treatment
While recycling to land is highly-beneficial — and helping local land is fantastic for the environment — due to the nature of certain liquids, it isn’t always possible. In some cases, the best disposal route is through treatment.
Our group-owned anaerobic digestion facility is based in the Midlands and provides an ideal alternative to recycling to land. In addition to this treatment plant, we work alongside some of the major water and AD treatment facilities all over the country. This ensures that we can help as many businesses as possible by having the resources to dispose of a vast range of liquid waste.
Our treatment network and 24/7 transportation capability allow all of the factories we service to focus on production, while we focus on waste.
